Continental Competition Pro Limited and the ultimate Double Loop Bike

I was looking at these Continental Pro Limited 25mm tires on Columbia High Road's bikes during Paris Roubaix. If you click on the image it will link you to the Velo News Article on Paris-Roubaix Tech which is always interesting. The only place that I can find them being offered is Maestro in the UK. As many of you know he offers great prices on groups, bikes, tires etc. He is kind of like a one man Pro-Bike-Kit. The dollar is pretty weak right now but some of his prices are still cheaper than MSRP in the states.

I have been thinking of building the perfect Prairie-Roubaix-Double-Loop bike and I think these Continentals would be quite nice. Add them to Todd Hero's new Look Team 585 and a pair of 32 Hole, Record Hubbed, Ambrosio Tubulars and you would have quite a set-up.

The Single-Track,Tree-Roots, Rock-Section taken at speed would demand a tough bike and a great set of wheels. Todd, Patrick, Isaiah and Jonathan Hero are four of the best Hero-Bike handlers and always impress on this part of the ride. We usually take this section with caution and pick our way down as no one wants to break a frame. Though I think it is one of those places on the second half of the double where you can pick up a few more seconds on the chasers.

Right now I just want some Assos Shoe Socks to keep my toes a little warmer. Too early for booties but after 3 hours on the dirt this last Sunday my Hero-Toes were getting chilly. Also I could not find a matching pair of arm warmers so I may need to remedy that as well.
