This is a lesson in Contrition. When your DS comes on the van for the reality show like covererage of the Tour de France and you have not done anything of note the whole race, you get a lecture.
At first you laugh and this makes the DS dig into his suitcase of theater and yell even more.
You then bow your head and take it.
You take it for France. You take it for your Sponsor. You take it for Marc Madiot. You just take it because it may be the only time you're on TV for the whole Tour.
