4 cups rolled oats
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup chopped or slivered almonds
1/3 cup maple syrup
1/3 cup local organic honey from hand fed bees
1/3 cup water
2tbs brown sugar
2tbs oil (canola is a good choice but I've used butter and that works great)
1 cup raisins
1 cup chopped dried apricots (if you do not have or want to use apricots substitute another cup raisins or just about any other dried fruit)
Preheat oven to 325
Mix oats, cinnamon, salt and almonds in a large bowl.
Put syrup. honey, water, brown sugar and oil in a small pot and heat to boiling. Add this to dry ingredients.
Spread this mixture onto a cookie sheet or jellyroll pan and place in preheated, 325° oven. Set timer for 35 minutes. Stir every ten minutes.
Take out of the oven and add the dried fruit. Enjoy.

That looks yummy. Do the oats have to be any particular kind, like one-minute or five-minute or whatever?
They should be whole rolled oats, not quick oats.
